Fig Leaf

My hands have been hurting... more than usual...

I have arthritis, and have for as long as I can remember... my knees, hips and hands are always hurting, I've kind of gotten used to it over the years... but this past week my left pointer finger has gotten really stiff... and that's about all that's stiff in my life, (ba-dum-DUM) ((eyeroll))... to the point if I try to make a fist, that finger stays up in the way it should when flipping the bird correctly... and it's bugging me.

So today I call up the Dr. and he sends me over to X-Ray and while I'm waiting for the X-Ray Tech to do her thing... I'm looking around and see a box that says "FigLeafs" on it... I take a closer look, wondering what the ONLY box in the room besides rubber gloves could hold... and... come to find these "fig leafs" are Gonad Shields!!!! They came in three sizes... the images that started streaming through my mind left me in giggles for what seemed like minutes... and I could not wipe the grin off my face...

All I could picture was the X-Ray Tech, who was an older woman reminding me of a transgender librarian attempting to afix said gonad shields... well... you get my point... I can't even type this without chuckling to myself... and now that I'm typing this... the imagry changes... now the X-Ray Tech is hot... what kind of reaction would she get... LOL... (yes... I just typed LOL... may lightning strike me, I am actually laughing out loud...)...

now... while searching for a picture of a homely x-ray tech... i find this... why couldn't my tech look like that!?!?
