Hug your loved ones...

I know this happens to all of us every so often... but it's my turn....

So mom calls me on Wednesday... tells me that my friend Jenny has gone into labor... it's a little soon, but because she's carrying twins... it should all be OK...

I get the call on Thursday... Twin girls... both almost 3lbs each... Mom & Dad are doing well... the twins have 3 older siblings to watch over them....

Friday... Jenny dies... blood clot... no symptoms... no way of knowing it was going to happen or stopping it...

My mom thought she told me (we've had quite a few deaths this month in my home town)... but she had forgotten, so I found out when I called Jenny & Gabe this morning to see how everyone was... Gabe's mom ended up telling me....

Anyway... Jenny was younger than me (I'm 35)... had zero complications with any of her pregnancies... I wouldn't say I'm questioning my faith right now... but I can sure say I'm questioning life....

anyway... hug your loved ones an extra time for me today....

Oh my gosh, Tori, what a horrible way to find out. I'm so sorry for your loss. I will keep all in my thoughts.

I read on twitter that they had 3 children, prior to the twins, that is going to be really hard for the Dad. I hope he has a good support system.

*BIG HUGS*

Like I've already said, this is horribly sad.
How unfair.
A blood clot? That's happened to two people I've known. So abrupt. So horrible.
I'm sorry chicklet.

That is so sad! I wish them well and hope that this hard road ahead for them takes them to grand places.

It's times like this that bring to light how precious every second of life can be.

I lost someone this past Friday as well. He had a heart attack it was sudden and quick. You never know what life will bring from day to day.

Life's not fair.

For that family to lose its mom is beyond sad. I will keep them in my thoughts.

Aww gosh that is really horribly sad. Those poor babies. I guess it really doesn't matter the age does it? Truly something to keep in your mind.
