2007: A year in review.
So, I'm taking this as a template from Crak, who took it from Lex, who took it from some other person I don't know... this is a MySpace Meme, but I digress...
2007 Awards
1) DRINKING BUDDY OF THE YEAR:
MMM. Hands down. The previous year it was the Jedi... and I think I've given up drinking for 2008
2) LIFETIME SERVICE AWARD (longest friend)
Is it woosin' out to say Mom?
3) NEWCOMER AWARD - NEWEST FRIEND?
My nephew... he's 4.5 months old now!
3) HIGH POINT OF THE YEAR?
Holding my nephew for the first time... followed closely by hearing I got "the job"!
4) LOW POINT OF THE YEAR?
12 days in the hospital, newly unemployed, uninsured... and I still don't know what's wrong with me (yes... still having issues)
5) BEST HOLIDAY?
I had dinner with my parents on St. Patrick's Day, followed by a fun night at an Irish Pub! Good times!
6) YOUR SONG FOR 2007?
I'm gonna have to say White & Nerdy!
7) MOVIE FOR 2007?
Hrrrmmmm. 300 was awesome!
8) MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT FOR 2007?
Finding out I was going to be an aunt.
9) BEST LAUGH FOR 2007?
There are way too many to choose just one!
10) WHO DID YOU SPEND VALENTINES WITH?
his name was Bob... but I met Kevin the next day.
11) BEST RELATIONSHIP?
um... like dating? KG.
12) WHAT WERE YOU FOR HALLOWEEN
In the hospital... in an isolation room near the ICU.... alone...
13) RESTAURANT OF THE YEAR?
Ume... great sushi!
14) BOOK OF THE YEAR?
I'm not sure there was any standouts this year... I've had horrible luck with books... any suggestions?
15) BEST DECISION MADE THIS YEAR?
To apply for the other (aka new) job
16) WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS FOR NEXT YEAR?
Learning the job and succeeding in the probation period.
17) MOST STUPID IDEA WHEN DRUNK?
to drive and or walk home alone... something bad WILL happen... whether it's a broken knee or a busted car... and those are mild compared to some of the other options!
18) TV SHOW OF THE YEAR?
I like the same shows year after year... not a reality TV fan... CSI, NCIS, Bones...
19) MOST LOYAL FRIEND(S)?
MMM is very loyal, but she has no reason not to be. On the other hand... more than once this year I told the Jedi I didn't even want him in my life... and he would always come back with "tough... you're my best friend and I don't want to lose you...."... that's pretty damn loyal
20) BIGGEST CHANGE OF THE YEAR?
the nephew and the job...
21) BIGGEST INFLUENCE AWARD?
My nephew... he makes me want to be a better person... and I'm almost wanting to move back to my small town to be closer to him... but with the new job, I doubt that will happen.
22) NEW YEAR RESOLUTION?
take care of ME... and let them take care of them...

You know, Monique said last year for her resolution that this was going to be her Year Of Being Good To Herself - or something like that.
I can't tell for sure - but I think that worked out pretty well for her.

I would give up drinking if it weren't for the fact I have my bachelorette party coming up in 2008.
That's a good New Year's resolution.
I need to remember that... starting like now.
I agree, that is the best resolution you could make. Here is too a much better 2008 with wonderful and exciting things happening in your life, and all of them good!
