My tires have acne...

soooooo... that little "bang the tire against the curb" incident... I knew it was gonna cost me... little did I know it was going to cost me $700!

I thought for sure I'd have to buy a new rim... and probably a new tire too... for some reason I thought I'd get out of there for less than $200. But NOOOO...

The rim itself is $285... and the tire is $150... and of course, it's never a good idea to just replace one tire, you have to replace BOTH tires... sooo add on tax, mounting, balancing, and a partridge in a pair tree... and I have more money invested in my car than I ever imagined spending TWO WEEKS before Christmas! And I guess the tires I have are known for having sidewall bubbles... so they're trying to see if they can cut some of the price because I have a warranty...

I suppose I cannot bitch and whine and complain and cry and... and... and... WTF... too late for that... but I do need to realize it could be a lot worse... the tire could have bent the axle or some shit... I could have killed someone important... or maybe me... and there there's always that looming fear in the back of my mind that I may have been Nichole Richie style... (I still really don't think I was... but it scares me anyway).

I got all my Christmas Cards done this weekend, I'll put them in the mail tomorrow... and I also started crocheting and knitting some scarves. I did most of my shopping online, so I have to wait for the orders to start coming in and wrap everything... Lastly I need to help santa out with his stocking stuffers... tis the season... fa la la la la....
