The Padawan's Red Lap Blanket

This is just a bulky wool blend yarn, simply double crocheted with a waterfall effect... it turned out nice, although I did miss a stitch about 4 rows in so it has a little glitch on one corner... oh well... just proves it's homemade, right?

Good for you, and it looks great! I'm trying to go outside my knitting comfort zone this year too. Currently I'm making a cap (never done that) and a prayer shawl; luckily for me, both follow the same rib pattern, so I won't get too confused.

As you know...I am starting to knit. I currently have 3 projects going...nice, huh? One is a scarf for a nay-saying friend, one is a throw for the living room...and one is just a mess! I only know one stitch. We should get together and knit, soon. I need a vacation!
