Training at the station is going to be interesting. There are things coming up that I never even think of... I'm sure I'll say that a lot, but tonight as I was trying to "wind down", the first of many "ah ha" moments came along...
It started yesterday as I did a "ride along" with a patrol officer. She told me to let her know if I saw anything unusual and when it happened to remember details... it made me think about how oblivious I am in my day to day life... and although I consider myself "detail oriented", when it comes to physical descriptions of people/vehicles... I'm not...
Tonight, while I was playing/testing some free photo editing program, I decided to isolate my blue eyes... so I made the entire picture black & white except the eyes
... and then I saw a funny little button that said "Reverse Effect", and you can see the results I achieved...
Wow... I mean, of course I still look like "me"... but really... it's a huge difference. I guess people really do speak with their eyes...
As for the software... here's a quick collage of some stuff I did in about 5 minutes just clicking some buttons...

Another reason I should spend the day playing with Photoshop instead of working...
what program is that? I am trying to convince the Hubs that without photo shop I am nothing, but it seems that after he saw the price tag he decided I was better being nothing. Sigh.
You have seriously the best hair ever.
I'm also curious what program you used for that. The GIMP perhaps?
