bla... bla... bla...

The sit along at the PD was interesting... I really hope I get through this Psych test and Physical. I'm not 100% that this is "the perfect job" for me... but just sitting with the other techs for 3 hours was really interesting and all I can hope is I find it as compelling as it seemed to be on Thursday.

While I was there, there were a few lull's, where nothing happened... then there was a guy who got arrested in the lobby because he came the records department, had a warrant for arrest and Meth on him, the family of a murder victim came in, a woman came in with her 12 year old son who was beating her up the entire time, and a suicide threat came via email....

At this point, all I gotta say is I have a LOT to learn!

Health wise... I'm feeling OK... I just get tired..... really tired... the anemia and low white blood count are to blame.... but damn the fact that there's no "quick fix". The PD works a 4/10 schedule... I need to be able to be 100% for 10 hours straight!

Currently, if I don't nap... I'm down for the count by 7pm.... and I sleep thru til 7am. If I do nap, it's 1.5-3 hours long...

aside: I hate it when one of my favorite actors plays a creepy character.... I love Paul Bettany, the British actor, but watching him as Silas in The Da Vinci Code just ruins the whole fantasy for me....

OK... Back to me... um... I have to do the psych test tomorrow at 8am, it's 113 miles away – about 1 hour 56 mins but can take up to up to 2 hours 50 mins in traffic... I cannot decide if traffic will be light or heavy, seeing as Thursday is Thanksgiving. I'm considering driving down tonight & staying in a hotel, but being unemployed and all that seems a little unnecessary.

sigh... by now this post is boring the pants off me... same thoughts that keep running thru my brain over and over...

I think I would be very tempted to stay int he motel. Its a psych test. Wouldn't it be better to get a good nights sleep, and wake up ready for the test than to have a fitful night at home, wake up early, possibly fight traffic and arrive at the test already stressed to the max?

Tori,
With your health, I would drive down and do the hotel thing. I think it is worth it for you to be at your best in the morning.

(See my response to your previous blog about hittin me with your digits :)

I know you aren't asking me...but I would prolly do the hotel thing, too...I guess it depends on what time you have to be there...and how you are feeling about it.

I lub you...make sure you don't mention your other personalities...that is just a tip from someone who might have learned the hard way...haha...kidding.

Depends on where you have to go in the morning. Is it counter commute? Then it MIGHT be busier than normal just coz all the people who took off the week leaving to go wherever it is they go.
