Vitamin B, Advil & Coffee...

it's gonna be one of those weekends...

I drank on Monday because it was my roommate's birthday... I drank on Wednesday because it was Steak & BJ day... so basically, I've been drunk or hungover more often than not this week.

today is Friday... and other than it being Friday... I have no reason to go out... EXCEPT... I'm a redhead... with freckles... and so St. Patty's Day seems to be an official "let's buy Tori a drink" day...

WAIT... it's not St. Patty's day yet! Ya... I know... but we're still going out after work, to Quincy's... an Irish Pub... which means as much as I try to stick to water or diet soda... I can guarenfuckintee that I won't.

After happy hour, MMM's mom is throwing a St. Patty's Day get together... hopefully I'll stick to just water there... and maybe, just maybe... I'll go home and not wake up with a hangover.

Tomorrow I have to work... and my parents are here for a few days to visit before they head over to the UK... Even with this fool proof excuse, my friends are still bugging me to leave the 'rents at home tomorrow night to go out for the REAL St. Patrick's Day Celebration... and my lovely British mum is totally OK with me going out... I almost wish I could bring her with me, the accent alone would score us a few rounds of free cocktails!

The 2 bars I enjoy the most are both Irish Pubs... one is called the Nutty Irishman, and the other is Patterson's... the past 2 years the owner of Patterson's has asked me to hang out there with the "Door Guys" and just keep an eye out and help check ID's... it's always been fun. I'm not doing it this year, but I'd still like to go up and see everyone... These places are PACKED on March 17th, to the point that it scares away the regulars... but we have other options. There's the Black Rose and Finnbar, 2 more Irish Pub's that I only go to occasionally...

On a totally separate thought... PC is also Irish, with freckles & reddish hair... so if we end up together I know it'd just be trouble multiplied by two!

Anyway... I suppose I need to take control over the situation and just decide how much I'm going to drink tonight and tomorrow... and normally I don't think I'd even be worried about it... but since Mom & Step-Dad are here... I just really don't want to have a severe hangover and have to entertain them on Sunday... pfft...

Responsibility sucks!
